Nada Farhat, DNP, ANP, CCRN is an adult nurse practitioner at the Schneeweiss Adult Congenital Heart Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received a BS in Nursing from the American University of Beirut, an MS from Seton Hall University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University School of Nursing. She is board certified in Adult Health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, in critical care by the American Association of Critical- Care Nurses, and in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners. As a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner with 10 + years of experience in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), she provides comprehensive care as a member of an interdisciplinary team for adults with Congenital heart disease and is involved in ACHD research studies and projects. Her interest is to promote and facilitate transition in CHD patients.
